N.S.R is a company that is distributed by Winter Solace Productions. This label was originally started in 2019 by two individuals in Detroit, MI who sold the company to WS in December of 2021 after being unable to operate it long term. At present this company exists as a licensing/fulfillment company for many Raw Black Metal bands whose entire catalogs are owned by Winter Solace Productions. The bands affiliated with this label are as follows: Granatus (along with various side projects), G.B.N.S (along with various side projects), Tank Genocide, the N.P.P. Black Metal/Power Electronics bands and numerous other Raw Black Metal projects that exist in either orphaned or unknown statuses.
The goal of this label is to allow for much of these extremely troubled recordings that exists in spaces between such much genres as Black Metal, Lowfi Punk, Noise, RAC, Outsider Music or are musically unclassifiable to materialize in some physical form.
The name of NSR is protected by the First Amendment in the USA and any inquiries about rights statues or anything else with this company should be directed to WS/CWoT via email before updating other sources. The information being parroted out on Metal Archives, Discogs.com and other places is completely inaccurate. Nothing released by this label is legally able to be considered a bootleg.
